For a lot of existing and potential clients, this question looms over their heads when deciding which junk removal company to go with. For us here at Salvage Savers, we want to be as transparent as possible and assure our clients that we care deeply about our environment.
First, we sort out the rubbish we clear from your homes or offices into waste products, recyclable items and reusable items.
The irredeemable waste substances are channelled through to appropriate and approved rubbish collection sites where they are taken care of.
Waste substances that can be recycled are not disposed of like irredeemable waste products. We gather as much as possible and send them over to recycling plants close to us. This is to ensure we’re not contributing to poor rubbish management and consequently global warming/climate change. We are committed to keeping our earth green and safe for generations to come.
Items such as clothes, shoes, computers, and old books are gathered and donated to charities and orphanages in Africa. We have partnered with some NGOs in Ghana concerned with the well-being of the poor and orphaned in the country. As and when the opportunity arises, some delegates visit some of these orphanages and the items are donated.
